The Gaelic Life annual celebration of Ulster clubs was back in full force at the Hillgrove Hotel in Monaghan on Friday 10th March 2023. Representatives from all four of the GAA’s codes were in attendance, and the whole evening was filled with excitement and anticipation.
Celebrating club success in Ulster
It was an unforgettable night for all those in attendance, with awards and recognitions being given out to the most deserving players and managers. The atmosphere in the room was one of joy, pride and camaraderie, as everyone came together to celebrate the achievements of GAA in Ulster. It was a truly special event and a night to remember for all involved.
Your host for the night: BBC Radio Ulster’s Connor Phillips
Now in its 12th year, the sold-out All-Star Awards event was a night of celebration honouring the players and achievements in hurling, camogie, men’s and ladies’ football. Hosting the awards ceremony was BBC Radio Ulster’s Connor Phillips, who provided lively entertainment, prizes and an enjoyable atmosphere as the much-deserved winners of the different categories were announced.
And the winner is…
The awards ceremony for the four respective teams of the year was held with great fanfare, and former Antrim camogie star Jane Adams was honoured by being inducted into the hall of fame. The event also paid tribute to the best managers and dual players of the year, with awards being presented to those who had excelled in their respective roles. The ceremony was a celebration of the achievements of the players and the hard work they had put in throughout the year, and a recognition of the dedication and commitment of the managers and dual players. It was a night of great celebration as the best in the sport were rewarded for their efforts.
Dancing the night away!
Once the awards ceremony had concluded, our attendees let loose and enjoyed themselves on the dance floor, accompanied by music and entertainment by The Engagements. The guests danced the night away, having a great time and creating lasting memories.

Support your club, support local
Supporting club, The Gaelic Life Ulster Club All-Star Awards provide a fantastic opportunity to recognise and honour the exceptional GAA talent in Ulster. This event is not only a great way to recognise and celebrate the accomplishments of the GAA athletes within the province, but it also serves as a beneficial platform for local businesses to gain valuable exposure through sponsorship. Through their involvement, these businesses have the potential to reach a large and engaged audience, which can help to promote their services and products.
Furthermore, it is a great way for them to show their support for the GAA community and demonstrate their commitment to the local area. This event is an invaluable opportunity for businesses to connect with their target audience and make a positive impression on potential customers.
Gaelic Life would like to sincerely express our gratitude to all those who made this year’s ceremony a success, both those who attended and those who provided sponsorship. We are deeply appreciative of the time, effort, and resources that were put forward in order to make the event a memorable one. Roll on next year!
